Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a high purity aluminum having industrial profitability and sufficiently reducing a quantity of eutectic impurity, such as Si, Fe, etc., and to provide the use of refined aluminum obtained with this method.
SOLUTION: In a refining method of aluminum, (N+1) pieces of vessels for molten aluminum (N is an integer of ≥2) and N pieces of cooling bodies for crystallizing high purity aluminum on the surface are disposed in order. Firstly, after holding raw aluminum in (N+1) pieces of vessels in a molten state, one series of processes [high purity aluminum is crystallized (1), the vessel and the cooling body are relatively shifted (2), refined aluminum is melted (3), the vessel and the cooling body are relatively shifted and refined molten aluminum is recovered from the following vessel (4)] is repeatedly performed in ≥2 times.
