Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a TAC (cellulose triacetate) film from a used polarizing plate using a TAC film as a transparent protective film.
SOLUTION: The method for regenerating the TAC film is characterized by having a step to subject the polarizing plate using the TAC film as the transparent protective film on at least a surface of a polarizer to solvent treatment and to dissolve the TAC film in the solvent and manufacturing the film from the TAC solution obtained in the previous step.
