Abstract:

To provide a method for regenerating an organic solvent whose extraction capacity is deteriorated with a simple processing step and high regeneration effect with regard to organic solvents and the like that extract indium from a tin electrolyte.

In the method for regenerating an extraction solvent by adding an acid thereto and stirring the solution after adding metal powder to a cation exchange-type phosphate series solvent whose extraction capacity is deteriorated to produce a precipitate, for example, the solvent is a phosphate based solvent that extracts indium contained in the tin electrolyte including the detinning step of precipitating tin by adding zinc powder to the solvent where the extraction capacity is deteriorated and the dezincification step of removing zinc from the solvent by pickling the solvent.
