Abstract:
To provide a method for the regeneration of waste edible oil containing various impurities and difficult to dispose and a method for using the regenerated oil produced by the method.
Waste edible oil is filtered to remove foreign materials, the obtained clean waste edible oil is esterified by adding methanol and caustic alkali, and the esterified oil is washed with water and separated to layers. The upper layer is subjected to adsorption treatment. The obtained regenerated oil is used as a machining oil, a grinding oil, an impregnation oil, a heat-retention oil, a diesel engine oil and a liquid detergent for oil removal use.
