There are provided a composition and a method using bile acid or its salt as a pharmacologically active surfactant, which are useful for reducing a localized fat precipitant and tightening loose skin in a subject requiring this treatment. The pharmacologically active surfactant can additionally contain an antiinflammatory, analgesic drug, dispersant or anti-dispersant, and pharmaceutically acceptable excipient.
