Title:
METHOD OF REMOVING CALCIUM IN DESULFURIZATION LIQUID
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013236988
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method of removing calcium in a desulfurization liquid capable of removing calcium contained in the desulfurization liquid discharged from a desulfurization tower for desulfurizing a sintering machine exhaust gas without requiring a large installation cost.

A desulfurization liquid discharged from a desulfurization tower 1 is introduced into an aeration tank 27, and then the desulfurization liquid introduced into the aeration tank 27 is aerated with carbon dioxide of 40°C or lower. After calcium in the desulfurization liquid is made calcium carbonate, the calcium carbonate is precipitated on a bottom of the aeration tank 27. The calcium carbonate precipitated on the bottom of the aeration tank 27 is discharged from a slurry-liquid discharge pipe 29 to the outside of the aeration tank 27 to remove the calcium from the desulfurization liquid.
