Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of removing the carbon on a furnace wall of the coking chamber; wherein the method can prevent from becoming an inappropriate carbon chamber by an adhesion state of the carbon during the operation of inserting carbon incineration lance to each coking chambers in the furnace group having a large number of the coking chambers after coke extrusion and blowing oxygen-containing gas.SOLUTION: The method comprises a step of detecting a COconcentration of combustion exhaust gas discharged from each coking chambers for each coking chambers, a step of evaluating variation in the furnace group of a detected COconcentration and oxygen-containing gas injection time, a step of determining the coking chamber which does not blow oxygen-containing gas, in the carbon removal step in the operation unit next time according to the variation, a step of determining an amount of the oxygen-containing gas to be blown per unit time in common for each furnace groups and the blowing time for each coking chambers with regard to the coking chamber other than the coking chamber that was determined not to carry out blowing, and a step of controlling next time the carbon removal step in the operation unit next time according to each of these decisions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
