Abstract:
To provide a method for removing a core sand capable of removing core sand with a simple configuration and of controlling an increase in production cost.SOLUTION: A method for removing a core sand remaining in a casting includes: a first step (step S1) of measuring a volume of the casting to determine a mass of only the casting from which the core sand has been removed; a second step (step S2) of applying vibration to or blowing compressed air on the casting; a third step (step S3) of measuring a mass of the castings after the second step; and a fourth step (step S4) of determining whether core sand removal is completed by comparing a mass of the castings measured in the third step with a mass of only the castings determined in the first step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
