To provide a method for removing deposits stuck to a membrane filter of a filtering device in sewage treatment capable of easily and rapidly removing the deposits stuck to the membrane filter and of executing the sewage treatment of even the sewage of a high SS (Suspended Solids) concentration by a filtration method.
The filtering device provided with the membrane filter is arranged within a sewage treating vessel for storing the sewage containing organic sludge, the sewage is filtered by the membrane filter to introduce the sewage into the filtering device and the treated water in the filtering device is discharged to the outside for sewage treatment. The sewage treatment consists of a step (step S3) of stopping (step S2) the supply of the sewage to the sewage treating vessel and feeding liquid chemicals at once into the filtering device, a step (step 4) of standing the sewage in such a state for the prescribed time, and a step (step S6) of cleaning the liquid chemicals in the sewage treating vessel after discharging (step S5) the liquid chemicals in the sewage treating vessel.
