To provide a method for removing fouling in a pipeline which can remove fouling adhering to the inside of a pipeline at a low cost without stopping a power generator in a waterpower plant.
A plurality of spherical bodies 2 stored together with water in a storing part 4 formed in an aqueduct 1 are injected into the inside of a dropping part 6 in the aqueduct 1 via a pump 5 together with water and fluidized in a water discharging bank side of the aqueduct 1 through the dropping part 6. The spherical bodies 2 flowing and dropping in the dropping part 6 run on a comb-like filter 10 slanted in the water flowing direction and installed at a position between an impeller 7 of a power generator 14 and a water discharging bank 24 in the aqueduct 1 and are thus trapped for recovery. The trapped spherical bodies 2 are transported to a prescribed housing part 11 by a belt conveyer 9 and housed there.
