Title:
METHOD FOR REMOVING HYDROGEN CHLORIDE, DIOXINS AND PRECURSOR DISCHARGED FROM INCINERATOR, OR THE LIKE, AND PRODUCTION AND REGENERATION METHOD OF CATALYST
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11166710
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent the crumbling of baked molded magnesium hydroxide bodies by disintegration, deliquescene, cracking, etc., by baking magnesium hydroxide at an optimum temperature.

A high-temperature desalting agent from which hydroxyl groups are completely separated is obtained by molding a mixture containing as primary components 85-95% magnesium hydroxide(MgOH), 1-3% calcium(Ca), and water in a secondary combustion chamber 2 by means of an extruder, etc., and separating water of hexahydrate molecule by heating the molded material at 100-120°C in an electric furnace, etc., and then, maintaining it at 830-850°C for one hour or longer so as to completely remove the remaining dehydrate crystal. The exhaust gas from an incinerator is passed through the space of the high temperature desalting agent 5 to be exhausted. Thereby the generation of dioxins can be prevented by using the dry high temperature desalting agent 5 which is not crumbled by disintegration, deliquescene, cracking, etc.
