Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove Te and Sb from a Rh-containing solution containing at least one impurity selected from the group at least consisting of Te and Sb without performing chlorination volatilization-roasting.SOLUTION: Provided is a method where impurities are removed from a Rh-containing solution at least containing one selected from the first group consisting of Te and Sb and at least one selected from the second group consisting of Pb, Bi, Fe, Cu and Sn as impurities, the method comprising: the first step in which, to the Rh-containing solution, di-2-ethylhexyl phosphoric acid is used, and at least the impurities in the second group are extracted and removed to obtain a first water phase; and the second stage in which, after reduction of the impurities in the first group contained in the first water phase, the impurities in the first group are extracted and removed using tributyl phosphoric acid.SELECTED DRAWING: None
