Abstract:

PURPOSE: To remove an insulating coating from a magnet wire while preventing the magnet wire from being damaged or degenerated in a method of removing an insulating coating from a coated magnet wire.

CONSTITUTION: In order to remove an insulating coating from a magnet wire, the coating on the wire is in part scratched by an abrasive tape 5, and then, the wire is immersed in an insulating coating remover 7 which therefore easily penetrate into the coating through scratches so that the peel-off effect for the insulating coating of the magnet wire 2 may be enhanced, thereby it is possible to effectively remove the insulting coating while preventing the magnet wire from being damaged or degenerated.
