Title:
METHOD FOR REMOVING INSULATION COATING OF CORE WIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05199631
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To remove insulation coating only from an exposed core part efficiently while keeping a cable in horizontal state without degrading the work environment.

CONSTITUTION: Exposed core 102 at the end of a cable is inserted into an annular opening 14a of a receiving board 14. Under a state where a predetermined length of exposed core 102 is positioned in a housing 10, exfoliation liquid is sprayed radially outward through an ejection hole 20a while rotating a nozzle 20 and at the same time the housing 10 is evacuated through a suction hole 15 thus chemically dissolving enamel applied on the core. Exfoliation liquid supply to the nozzle 20 is then stopped and drying air heated at a predetermined temperature is fed through the nozzle 20 into the housing 10. The drying air evaporates the exfoliation liquid adhered to the core 102 and then it is discharged, together with the gasified exfoliation liquid, to the outside through the suction hole 15 thus drying the core 102 thoroughly.
