Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remove mercury or a mercury compd. contained in a hydrocarbon oil by a simple method.
CONSTITUTION: Mercury or a mercury compd. contained in a hydrocarbon oil can be removed sufficiently by a simple method, i. e., by shaking an aq. mixture contg. up to 50vol.% org. solvent which has a solubility in water of at least 3vol.% with the oil contg. mercury or the mercury compd.
