Abstract:

To provide a method for removing an organic solvent from a polymer solution in a short time by efficiently decompressing the inside of a reaction vessel.

The method for removing the organic solvent by decompressing the polymer solution in the reaction vessel employs: the reaction vessel 1 having a heating part; a condenser 4 condensing the evaporated organic solvent; a receiver tank 5 collecting the organic solvent; a pump 6 extracting a liquid inside the receiver tank; vacuum equipment 8 decompressing the inside of the vessel; and a normal-pressure tank 7. The organic solvent collected in the receiver tank is transferred from the inside of the system in a decompressed condition to the normal-pressure pump outside the system by means of the pump (liquid supply pump) extracting a liquid inside the receiver tank.
