Abstract:
To provide a method for efficiently removing osmium from an aq. solution contg. osmium.
This method comprises adding an oxidizing agent to a nickel chloride aq. solution contg. osmium and further, blowing air into the resulting solution to volatilize and remove osmium from the aq. solution, wherein as the oxidizing agent to be added, at least one agent selected from chlorate, perchlorate and hypochlorite is used.
