The extracted body fluid including the photoactive compound and the adsorbent having a photoactive compound adsorbing function are brought into contact with each other to remove the photoactive compound from the extracted body fluid. This extracted body fluid treatment unit has an adsorbent storing part for storing the adsorbent having the photoactive compound adsorbing function, an extracted body fluid inlet for allowing the extracted body fluid including the photoactive compound to flow to the adsorbent storing part, and an extracted body fluid outlet for allowing the extracted body fluid flowing into the adsorbent storing part to the outside of the adsorbent storing part. This adsorbent has the photoactive compound adsorbing function and is composed of an anion exchange resin coated with hydrophilic high molecule.
