Abstract:
To provide a method of removing the scale of steel and a method of manufacturing a rolled steel plate, in which work cost in descaling work can be reduced.
In a method of removing scale stuck to the surface of a hot-worked steel plate 11, dry ice pellets or ice pellets are used as granular materials composed of a solid phase-changeable to liquid or gas in practice atmosphere, the pellets are jetted onto the surface of the steel plate 11 in a granular material jetting treatment part 14, and then the surface of the steel plate 11 is exposed to an acid solution in a pickling treatment part 15.
