To provide a method of removing a tire installed in a multipiece type wheel and of which bead part is fixed to a side ring and a bead seat band.

A ring stopper 1 is used. The ring stopper 1 includes a slide pipe 2 and a slide pipe 3 to be slid for extension and shrinkage, and both slide pipes 2, 3 include ring claws 4, 5 in tip ends thereof. The ring claws 4, 5 are locked with a side ring 11, and in this state, a disc tool is pressed to a part near the bead part, while rotating a wheel 10 and a tire 15, to separate the bead part 12 from the side ring 11 and a bead seat band 16. Then, the side ring 11, the bead seat band 16, the lock ring and an O-ring are removed from a rim base 14, and the tire 15 is removed.
