Abstract:

PURPOSE: To efficiently remove the unburned combustibles in coal ash without causing fusion by supplying coal ash from the upper end of an inclined rotary kiln and supplying a hot gas from the lower end to burn the unburned combustibles.

CONSTITUTION: The coal ash contg. unburned combustibles is supplied from a raw coal ash feed pipe 7 at the upper end of an inclined cylindrical rotary kiln 1, a hot gas duct 8 provided with a burner 10 is inserted into the lower end of the kiln, and a hot gas at 500-1000°C is supplied from the tip of the duct to burn the unburned combustibles. Consequently, the unburned combustibles in the coal ash is removed, and the treated coal ash is discharged from a discharge hole 5.
