Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a base course, which can reliably prevent the occurrence of the upheaval, deformation, destruction and the like of the base course using a base course material containing an expansive mineral, concurrently with the reliable repair of the upheaval, deformation, destruction and the like of the base course.SOLUTION: In a method for repairing a base course using a base course material containing an expansive mineral, the base course material is exposed from a surface layer and a base layer of a pavement; a water-insoluble superabsorbent polymer is added to the exposed base course material and mixed; and subsequently, a required amount of mixture of them is re-laid as the base course material.SELECTED DRAWING: None
