Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a method for repairing an old-type large-sized furniture that are stained, scratched, and deteriorated in the woody parts, by disassembling or decomposing the furniture into a drawer part, double-leaf door part, and sliding door part, and by recovering each surface of a solid board to an original woody surface, coating the recovered surface, and finishing them to 1-8 furniture bodies as storage containers.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for repairing a chest of drawers made of a solid board, with which in a storage furniture made of a solid wooden board and furnished with a drawer, a double-leaf door and a sliding door, an old-type large-sized furniture in which surfaces, side boards and top boards of the drawer, the double-leaf door, the sliding door are stained, scratched, and deteriorated in the woody parts, is disassembled or decomposed into the drawer part, the double-leaf door part, and the sliding door part. Then, each surface of the solid board is planed by 0.1-5 mm to expose an original wooden surface, subjected to a coating treatment, and reassembled into 1-8 bodies according to a request by additionally using a complementary solid plate of equivalent material to finish them into 1-8 pieces of furniture as storage containers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
