The method for repairing a metal component by brazing includes: a step of placing a repairing material including a brazing material on at least a portion to be repaired of a metal component as a component to be repaired; a step of surrounding the placed repairing material with a surrounding tool; a step of pressing and fixing the repairing material and the surrounding tool by mechanical force; a step of pressing a restraining tool on the repairing material surrounded by the surrounding tool and the surrounding tool by mechanical force to fix the repairing material and the surrounding tool; and a step of carrying out diffusion heat treatment to the fixed repairing material.
