Abstract:

To ensure that a pile body, constructed in the ground under the foundation of the skeleton of a building, a bridge, or the like is repaired by injection of resin if it is cracked by an earthquake, etc.

A borehole is drilled along the central axis of a pile body 2, a resin injecting device 13 having double packers 16, 16 at its top and bottom and having a static mixer is set, and a main agent and a hardener are supplied respectively from a main agent tank 20 and a hardener tank 20' via mutually independent passages 19, 19', are mixed by the static mixer, set quickly, and injected into a crack 3. Thus the resin is used in a required minimum amount and can be surely injected into millimeter microcracks, and the pile body can be restored to its initial design support strength, leading to cost reduction and enhanced reliability of construction work.
