Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the material of a sheet metal from deteriorating and a rustproof coating film coated on the back surface of the sheet metal from burning when repairing ( heating ) the sheet metal.
SOLUTION: A drawn-out flat part 4' is formed by drawing out washers which are welded to the surface of a concave part formed on the sheet metal 1. The surface of this drawn-out flat part 4' is heated within the range of 250-350°C by using a LPG torch taking propane gas or the like as a heat source. The drawn-out flat part 4' where is expanded by plastic deformation is contacted ( shrunk ) by rapidly cooling this heated drawn-out flat part 4' with cloth 8 wetted with water or the like.
