Abstract:

To efficiently replace the overhead bridge of a speedway or the like in a short time.

An opening is provided in the girder 2a to be replaced of an overhead bridge, a vertically split frame 6 is erected through the opening, and after the girder 2a to be replaced is supported by a hanging mechanism 7 provided on the upper frame 6a of the frame 6, the girder 2a to be replaced is separated from the bridge and lowered by the hanging mechanism 7 for dismantling. Thereafter, as timbering blocks are extended, a new girder is raised and installed.
