Abstract:
To provide a resin finishing method for a denim yarn to give a denim fabric developing washing color fading different from the fading of conventional denim fabric without causing the stiffened touch and the lowering of tear strength by resin finishing, and provide a denim fabric produced by using the denim yarn as the warp.
The resin finishing method for a yarn for denim fabric comprises the rope dyeing of a yarn of cellulosic fiber or a blended yarn of a cellulosic fiber and a synthetic fiber, the application of a resin finishing agent reactive with cellulose and a catalyst to the rope-dyed yarn and the heat-treatment of the obtained yarn.
