Abstract:
To extend the operating life of an electrode used for resistance spot welding of a resin coated steel plate, comprising a galvanized steel plate coated with a resin, in particular having good corrosion resistance.
In the method of resistance spot welding of the resin coated steel plate having a resin layer at least on one side of a galvanized steel plate, the resin layer contains electrically conductive particles of 1-110 parts by mass in a resin of 100 parts by mass and the colliding speed of an electrode to the resin coated steel plate is set at 250 mm/s or less.
