Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent boiled rice at the bottom part of a rice cooking vessel from getting soggy by temporarily heating the rice cooking vessel with a heating means when the temperature in the rice cooking vessel gets lower than a prescribed warmth retaining temperature after the end of a rice cooking operation, evaporating bedewed water on the bottom part of the rice cooking vessel and starting a warmth retaining operation later.
SOLUTION: When previously performing the rice cooking operation in the case of control after the end of the rice cooking operation, the quantity of rice to be cooked is detected from the time for the inside of a rice cooking vessel 2 to reach the prescribed temperature or the like. Then, after the end of the rice cooking operation, the temperature inside the rice cooking vessel 2 is measured by a temperature sensor 8, and it becomes the temperature to generate bedewing on the inner face or the like of the rice cooking vessel 2 such as it gets lower than 70°C, for example, is detected. When the temperature inside the rice cooking vessel 2 is dropped lower than 70°C, corresponding to the quantity of rice to be cooked, the heating time is determined. Afterwards, a heating means 5 is operated and controlled so as to perform heating for one minutes when the quantity of rice to be cooked is a little, to perform heating for two minutes when the quantity of rice to be cooked is middle and to perform heating for three minutes when the quantity of rice to be cooked is much. Thus, the bedewed water stored on the bottom part of the rice cooking vessel 2 is evaporated.
