Abstract:
To provide an exhaust gas cooling water returning method for inexpensively and efficiently returning cooling water fed from a cooling tower into a condenser to the cooling tower to cool high temperature exhaust gas sucked from a vacuum degassing tank in a vacuum degassing installation.
A sealed tank 12 is provided at a height position in a middle between the condenser 11 and the cooling tower 13. The cooling water drained from the condenser 11 is stored in the sealed tank 12, and then the cooling water is returned to the cooling tower 13 while using a ventilating fan for forcibly ventilating air in an inclined pipe 23 ranging from the sealed tank 12 toward the cooling tower 13.
