To provide a method for reutilizing a recovered polyamide, which method is free from requiring alkali resistance, or the like, for a reactor or a storage container for decomposed materials and is advantageous in terms of handling of a solvent used and decomposition rate.

This method for reutilizing the recovered polyamide comprises carrying out, in the following order, a packing step for packing the recovered polyamide together with methyl acetate in a reactor and a decomposition reaction step for decomposing the polyamide to the prescribed decomposed materials by heating and retaining the reactor at a prescribed temperature.
