Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the product quality and productivity by rolling a stock with an antiseize agent prepared by mixing boron nitride powders and a binder between guide shows and the rolled stock.

CONSTITUTION: Rolling is performed by a diagonal mill 1 with an antiseize agent prepared by mixing boron nitride powders and a binder between guide shows 5 of disk-roll type, etc., and a rolled stock. An average powder size is 5W10μm and aluminum phosphate, etc., having heat resistance at a high temp. about 1,200°C is used as the agent. Applying the agent to the surface of the guide shows 5 is says because the agent is liquid; a friction coefficient is large, so that generation of seizing or slips is prevented. Therefore, the product quality is improved and the productivity is also improved because downtimes of a rolling mill are remarkably reduced.
