Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for rolling a steel strip using a pair cross rolling mill capable of preventing a plate curvature or a steel strip fracture when rolling the steel strip by always keeping constant the position in which the clearance between a cross head and a roll chock is generated.
SOLUTION: The method for rolling the steel strip using the pair cross rolling mill is characterized in that when the steel strip is engaged into the rolling mill, a cross head liner is put to ON, and vertical sub-roll chocks are pushed down to the rolling direction, and when rolling the steel strip, vertical sub-roll chocks are pushed down to the rolling direction with a stronger force than the offset force that vertical sub-rolls receive, and preferably, at the time of the steel strip being engaged into the rolling mill, the cross head liner is put to ON and vertical operating roll chocks are pushed down to the rolling direction.
