Abstract:

To provide a method for quickly and economically producing a liquid containing saccharides at high concentrations from waste paper.

A method for saccharifying waste paper, comprises that pretreated waste paper is saccharified by the action of cellulase, wherein the pretreated waste paper and cellulase are intermittently supplied according to the apparent viscosity of the mixture of the pretreated waste paper and cellulase.
