Abstract:

PURPOSE: To uniformly and hygienically provide saltiness to a food such as cheese, etc., by stirring salted water in a salted water tank by jet stream and jetting salted water to a food in the salted water tank.

CONSTITUTION: A food such as cheese is charged into a salted water tank 1 together with salted water flowing a conduit 7 by the conduit 7 and the food is advanced by partitioning plate attached to an endless belt 3 at a definite interval. Salted water in the salted water tank is stirred by a jet stream of the salted water from a jet pipe 10 and salted water is jetted to the food from a nozzle of a salted water shower pipe 12 so as not to provide dispersion to saltiness of the salted food. The salted food is pulled up by a discharge conveyer at the final end of the salted water tank and can automatically be salted without being polluted by other bacteria.
