To provide a method of sampling sand in a device for measuring properties of kneaded sand, capable of stably achieving the measurement of properties of the kneaded sand, and to provide a device for the method.
A method is for sampling kneaded sand from a kneading machine in a device for measuring properties of the kneaded sand, the device including a guide tube communicated with the kneading machine of molding sand and a screw rotatably inset in the guide tube. The method includes a step of discharging the kneaded sand remaining within the guide tube to an exterior of the guide tube by rotating the screw, and a step of sampling the kneaded sand from the kneading machine by rotating the screw, after discharging the kneaded sand remaining within the guide tube to an exterior of the guide tube.
