Title:
METHOD FOR SEALING CONCRETE STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2019060169
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a sealing method that can seal joints stably even when the width of a joint fluctuates because of expansion, contraction or the like of a concrete structure.SOLUTION: The sealing method includes: cutting a joint plate 15 provided inside a joint 11 of a cut-and-cover tunnel 1 up to a predetermined depth and removing it, and suctioning and removing excess water and pieces or the like of the joint plate 15 using a vacuum cleaner; disposing a temporary sealing material 14 so as to cover a space between the joint plate 15 with the predetermined depth and side surfaces 11a, 11a of the joint 11 and disposing a back-up material 12; injecting a dispersant into the surface side of the back-up material 12 inside the joint 11 up to the surfaces of blocks 8, 9 on both sides of the joint 11 and placing a protection sheet on the surface of the dispersant; polymerizing water soluble organic monomers of the dispersant inside the joint 11 to form a sealing body 13 including polymeric hydrogel with a three-dimensional network structure, which is formed from a polymer of water soluble organic monomers and water-swelling clayey minerals; removing the protection sheet after forming the sealing body 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
