Abstract:
To provide a method of sealing treatment for thermal spray coating by which sealing is performed with a currently used paint without using a thermal spray film treating agent and without having a facility for performing the sealing treatment in a low pressure atmosphere.
An objective material (vessel) 1 to which the sealing treatment is to be applied, formed with the thermal spray coating, is dipped into the paint 2 in a paint vessel 3 laid on a vibrating means 9. In this state, the paint 2 is vibrated so that the paint 2 repeats vertical and horizontal movement to/from the surface of the objective material (vessel) 1 to which the sealing treatment is to be applied.
