PURPOSE: To secure a blank on a screen through an easy operation by inputting a handwriting stroke and specifying an object on the screen as an object to be moved, moving the object, and displaying the blank at the position where the object were displayed before being moved.
CONSTITUTION: A handwriting judging part 2 judges as to whether the handwriting inputted to a tablet 1 is a gesture input or an object input. When the object input is judged, the object is displayed at a display part 6 after all pen point coordinates constituting the inputted handwriting are saved in a handwriting buffer 3. When the gesture input for securing a blank is judged, the processing of moving process part 5 is performed after the processing of a moved object and movement destination judging process part 4, and then the result is displayed at the display part 6. The moved object and movement destination judging process part 4 separates a part specifying the moved object and a part specifying the movement destination of the moved object from the inputted gesture and judges the object and its movement destination.
