Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To screen speakers 21 contained in gas leakage alarms 28 used for a first period W1 to reduce the cumulative probability q1 that the operating sound volume V becomes less than a rated sound volume V0a to a predetermined first cumulative probabitity q0a after reused for the next second period W2.
SOLUTION: Gas leakage alarms 28 used for a first period W1 are collected, speakers 21 removed from them and their operating sound volumes V are measured by feeding an acoustic signal of a predetermined fixed amplitude. Among the speakers of the total number u used for the first period W1 with operating sound volumes V1, those having sound volumes exceeding a predetermined screening sound volume V1a are selected and reused further for the second period. To set up the screening sound volume V1a, the speakers 21 used for the first period W1 are subjected to an equivalent accelerated deterioration test to the use for the second period W2 and the accelerated deterioration test results are statistically processed.
