Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the breakage of dried paper by controlling the speeds of upper and lover canvas before the passing of the paper is finished, and adjusting the draw of a driving device on the helper side in response to the deviation of the load allotment rate of the driving device from a set value after the passing of the paper is finished.
CONSTITUTION: Before the passing of paper is finished, both the upper canvas 20 on a helper side and the lower canvas 30 on a master side are controlled to the same speed on the basis of the same line speed command VL. After the passing of the paper is finished, the load allotment rates of the driving devices for the upper and lower canvases, respectively, are computed, and the mechanical controlling draw ε of the driving device on the helper side is finely adjusted in response to the difference Δi of the computed load allotment rate from a set load allotment rate.
