Abstract:
To provide a method for separating a desired metal efficiently from a metal mixed solution.SOLUTION: A method of separating metal includes the steps of: (1) immersing a metal coordination unit-containing hydrophilic polymer, in the presence of first reductant, in first solution containing first metal ions, to produce a nuclear of the first metal on the hydrophilic polymer, and (2) immersing a hydrophilic polymer containing the nuclear of the first metal, in the presence of second reductant, in second solution containing the first metal ions, to deposit the first metal contained in the second solution on the nuclear of the first metal on the hydrophilic polymer for nuclear growth, with the first metal having a reduction potential of greater than 0 by a standard hydrogen electrode reference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
