Abstract:

To provide a method of separating metal from solution of metal containing a trivalent phosphorus compound.

In the method for removing metal components from the solution of metal containing a trivalent phosphorus compound and one or more elements among ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, iridium and platinum, the solution is brought into contact with a polyamine-type chelate resin. It is preferable that the trivalent compound is a phosphorus compound containing phosphorus-oxygen bonds. Further, it is preferable to adjust the pH of the solution of metal to 5 to 10 before the solution of metal is circulated through the polyamine-type chelate resin.
