Abstract:
To provide a method for efficiently separating a metal component from a treatment material containing a silicate and a metal element.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for separating, from a treatment material containing a silicate and a metal element, a metal component derived from the metal element, comprising: a reaction step of obtaining a reaction product by reacting a molten alkali of a hydroxide of an alkaline metal or an alkaline earth metal with the treatment material while supplying steam under heating; and a first precipitation step of dissolving the reaction product of the treatment material and the molten alkali after the reaction step in water and generating precipitates containing the metal element in the solution obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
