Abstract:

To provide a method for separating mixed gas without lowering the purity of nitrogen in a PSA system.

A process for regenerating an adsorbing tower is constituted of 97-20% of a process consisting of the discharge of the raw gas in the adsorbing tower to the atmosphere and the washing of the raw gas with product gas and 3-80% of a process comprising preparatory pressurizing in such a state that the adsorbing tower is closed and only a pipe for performing the washing with the product gas is opened.
