To provide a method of efficiently separating and recovering hardly separable heavy metals, such as copper, included in solid wastes by solving the cost load problem by separating, recovering, kneading and drying process steps of the hardly separable heavy metals, the in-furnace closure by partial slagging of flying ash and the problems relating to the improvement of the optimum temperature conditions in a chlorinating process step and a heating and removing process step and a system for the same.
The method of efficiently separating and recovering the hardly separable heavy metals from the solid wastes comprises subjecting the solid waste to a halogenation reaction in the presence of a halogenating agent at ≤250°C and evaporating and separating the formed halogenated heavy metals in a temperature field of 250 to 900°C.
