In the method for separating and removing the core 12, which is bound by an organic binder for producing a hollow portion, from a cast product 2 formed in a state of holding the core 12 in a casting mold; jetting pipes 16, 17, which can jet high pressure gas from a jet port 22 provided at its tip end so as to remove the core 12, are inserted into a hollow portion 11, formed by the core 12, of the cast product 2 in the hot state just after being taken out from the casting mold, and then the high pressure gas is jetted from the jet port 22. Simultaneously, the jetting pipes 16, 17 are repeatedly reciprocated in their longitudinal directions so as to separate and remove the core 12.
