To easily and surely perform taking-out of a coagulated substance by a method wherein when the coagulated substance coagulated in a storage container is separated from the storage container, a nozzle is inserted to the bottom part of the storage container and water or air is jetted from this nozzle.
When a gel-like substance 12 such as a gelatin-contg. Silver halide emulsion stored in a storage container 11 is peeled off, a nozzle 2 is inserted to the bottom part of the storage container 11 and water or air is jetted from the apex of this nozzle 2. The air or water jetted from the nozzle 2 is temporarily accumulated between the bottom face of the storage container and the gel-like substance and then, it gradually flows out to the whole periphery of the inner side face in the storage container and is discharged from the gap of the opening face of the storing container and the gel-like substance to peel off the storage container 11 and the gel-like substance 12. In addition, the whole gel-like substance 12 is made to float up in the storage container 11 by jetting force of the air or the water to completely separated the inner wall face of the storage container and the gel-like substance 12. Pressure of the jetted air is appropriately selected in accordance with the size of the storage container 11 and the kind of the gel-like substance.
