Abstract:
To provide a method for separating unburned carbon from fly ash, which enables the unburned carbon to be separated from the fly ash with high treatment efficiency.SOLUTION: Unburned carbon is separated from fly ash by a grinding step of turning the fly ash into powder by grinding the fly ash, which includes the unburned carbon, by a dry grinding step or a wet grinding step through the use of grinding equipment into which media with a diameter of 2 mm or less are loaded, and a separation step of separating the unburned carbon from the powder by a wet separation step or a dry separation step using a classification apparatus subjected to the action of a centrifugal force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
